Never works - There is no wave here! I surf Denhams all the time and on the biggest swells, the sets just wash straight over the island and close the whole bay out...look elsewhere for a good wave coz you won't find it here. Denhams holds maybe 4ft max on the beachies if there's even a bank. Much better at 2ft as anything bigger tends to close out the whole beach.
