i think its illegal to surf here and you have to watch out for boats, shit on the bottom which you cant see, and a big concern, they shoot HUGE sharks at the wharves ive seen them and you cant see them cuz tha water is filthy. now the following is important you MUST take off 2 m away from the exposed rock youll see when you get there short bommie type wave which jacks up hollows out and shoulders out in a few seconds with a short steep exhillatating ride when a really big set comes through it is scary a weird wave.
Atmosphere
scary, sharky. there will always be a crowd on hand which you can claim your tubes to a unique experience
General
only go out there if you are going to go. it is seriously dangerous!

Roackwall (at rivermouth) - When the swell is big enough for the rivermouth to work, there is a surprising little right on the beach side of the rockwall.
It's a quick right that tubes on take off and again a little further on, ending in a closout at the end. Despite being pretty small, it gives some great little rides. Best on rising or dropping tides. The rip next to the rock wall is a great substitute for paddling!
