Comment below - Um u right and wrong,
i grow up and surf everday and travel around this area alot, i can tell u, i can go to scotts one day, it will luckly 1ft if that, not riddable, fat lines, but if u go just past the chail to gap beach, its about 3-4ft on the same day, and yes the ocean floor is bad but the jail still has a large impact on our swell,
u were right tho, when its big ,horshoe and hat head absotlutly pump, best on e/ne swell, as for the mouth, well that breaks on any swell, but scotts, its a very hit n miss spot, it gets good, but not very often, big swells here usually break to far out and are just fat walls they baly break, allright for mals but thats about it, try further south like port, or even further, allways seems the further u go down the bigger it gets, soo peace out
have fun

Scots can rox - Some of you ppl have no idea what you are talking about. The Jail at SWR has little impact if any on Scotts. Scotts does not break on smaller swells because of the ocean floor and the position of the headland. When every else including Cresso is too big and closing out you can bet there is the chance there would be waves at Scotts and off the Jail Wall at SWR as well. Maybe even Horseshoe would be rideable. Even Flat Rock at Hat Head could have a wave.

Here I come - Ahhh, Scotts, what can I say. Was up there last year in October for a week and found it to be the best place for the family and surfer alike.
Nice calm water in the cove for the kids, and after a few days wait, got 3-5ft two days in row. It was my first time in scotts and cant wait to return this year. I found all the locals to be cool and freindly, shame about some of the sydney-ites though, chill out bros and enjoy the paradise. Wish the creek was a little deeper for the boat.
May have to launch from the beach this year. Here I come scotts.
