Flatty & the hole: another view - What an odd forum. Who are these people? Glendale boys? Foul mouthed body boarders? Its all a bit much don't you think?
I can look out the bedroom window and check out Flatty and the Hole and although its regularly good, its also one of the busiest spots in the area. I dont surf it as much as I'd like - hassling with grommets and neo-locals is way too much hard work. That being said things do get rather cut throat when its good and as everywhere the natural pecking order usually sorts things out. For general info - MOST bodyboards are way down the food chain so if you think you are going to turn up and run the show, please think again. People who grew up on the break usually enforce their right of way.

flatrock - I am a 15 yr old bodyboarder and I just love going out to flatty with 8 of my bodyboarding buddies. we hoot and holler even on shitty little 1 footers. we're so hardcore, we own the place. Then we paddle in to the baths and give each other rimjobs with the old men in the changerooms
