Moonie is the next beach north of the break "Catherine Hill bay" as u past this beach u wil see a dirt road leading to it. you can park alot closer if oyu have a 4wd but if not it is about a 150m walk to the water. moonis is just like a ordinary beach break but much more sucky and powerful. there is also a good inside section for grommies who are learning.You can sit whereever as there are peaks through the whole beach. your car can be parked at the bottom gate if you have a 4x4 and it is a 2 minute walk from there.
Atmosphere
there atmosphere is excellent at this spot there are not alot of heavy locals, making it easier to surf. there is beautiful scenary around the area and the water is always clear and clean
General
this spot is an excellent surf destination to anyone. if you are keen for fun, sucky, uncrouded waves, GET OUT THERE!!!

hoax - this is the worst beach around and never gets any swell. newy is better

- Moonie iz a nice wave when 4ft+...but if you want something more challenging...go around the headland until u see a gnarly wave at the end of the rocks in the next "little beach"....the break called Ghosties. Shark infested to shithouse but a crazy wave...nice to go camping
