A cracker spot - but beware! - This spot is terrific, but for experienced surfers only. We surfed it nearly every day during a holiday at Iluka, and several of us nearly drowned in the beautiful-but-dangerous swell of roughly half a foot. If it's under a foot, then you should keep an eye out for me carving it up. If it's any bigger than a foot, then I take my board home and ride my own fart bubbles in the bath. It's nearly as scary as Shark Bay, but I'm thankful I can grab hold of the taps to haul myself to safety.

The Oven opened - I just read the comments posted by this myth called "The Oven". If its who i think it is, i think i even saw this guy out and he was a battler. Deadset a castrated dog would get more action in an hour.As a local to "Shark Park" i just want to say that you have gotto be kidding. You have more danger of getting into trouble losing a holding your breath competition under water than you do surfing at the Park. Sure it goes off on its day but you have to wait for an eternetie. In the meantime, maybe you should re-treat to your canal in Surfers Paradise which is probably more your speed.
