There are some surfable waves, mainly rights, breaking over shallow patches urchin infested reef, though the waves never line up very well and it not surfed very often because of the chances of stepping on an urchin. It is a last resort option on a small swell and a westerly wind if Kingston reef is blown out. Booties are recommended and don't land head first !
