Best time to go is cyclone season. If packed just be patient. Ultra crowded when going off.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere here is cool, not too many hardcore fags. Just don't drop in on locals and you'll be sweet.
General
This spot is good when everywhere else is packed, sometimes the swell hits big, but if Snapper is massive and you're a beginner, go to Coolie.

Hoax! - 'Coolangatta' doesn't really exist as a seperate spot anymore, it's just part of the Snapper super bank thanks to the sand bypass project.
