Heavily Surfed Real Estate - The water from Snapper Rocks through Greenmount Point into Coolangatta and up to Kirra is some of the most heavily surfed bits of real estate in the world. There is a standing population of over 300 to 400,000 surfers in SE Queensland alone. On any given day this location is extremely crowded with very aggressive world class surfers to a capacity you will have trouble comprehending. If you are thinking of visiting and getting a wave here think again, as getting a wave here without good local knowledge is exceptionally difficult. You would be much wiser to go to other more quiter breaks in northern NSW south of Balina.
