need to be quick to the feet or you ill eat shit!!Regarded as a semi-secret spot, the sign post is regularly ripped out by the guys who want it to stay a locals-only spot.Great wave,on a low swell.Have had MANY great sessions with a great vibe nearly always in the line-up.

Flatrock solo sess - You can still score this break uncrowded, very uncrowded. I surfed it 3 days a go alone for close to 3 hours. Well, there were no other humans in the line up. It was only 4 ft but bloody perfect. You just got to know when to go and when to stay.

STUPIDLY SHARKY!! - You are an absolute idiot if you surf out here, everyone that lives on EP knows that this area is THE sharkiest close to shore.. sightings of HUGE white pointers close to the reef by fishermen are extremely common, just last Chris from the Gascatch in Port Lincoln witnessed a MASSIVE white pointer slaughter a huge seal not more than 20 metres from the take off spot, it would be tragic if someone was eaten here.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

what goes around comes around! - Word has filtered out that a couple of wannabe young enforcers have been waxing cars in the Flatties carpark. As a former local I have a pretty good idea who these guys are, and they aren't the best surfers going around.. funny that! These guys should look at blokes like Frosty who rip and know how to act, in and out of the water
