PC - The locals there are cool, they just don't like cockheads. I moved to Elliston in 1980 (and lived there for 20 years), they didn't speak to me for a couple of months, I just kept my head down, obeyed surf ettiquite and eventually they accepted me. Anyone who thinks it's pussy wave just hasn't surfed it over 4 foot. At 6-8 foot the outer reef breaks and bigger than that it's unrideable. That's a genuine 6-8 foot not dreamers 6-8. Just remember....respect is earned not given just because you're there.
