funny - local crew will hate this wave getting posted hey? Bit of a loose term for the regulars that surf this place when 90 percent of them are blow ins from eastern south oz or elsewhere, have sucked arse and or put on a hard man act for too many years which has evidently consumed them completely which is a fair reason why most of them can't face normal day to day life without a good healthy drug addiction..... the good news is most of these old farts are getting a bit slow and decrepit in the water and you might not get inside position on any given day but you can guarantee you're having more fun than these tainted dinosaurs.
Be mindful when you're surfing the fat kiddies wave called cactus down the beach that you may come across a really strange guy called Lucas who is convinced that he is at pipeline and he was a hawaiian heavy man or something like that while i was there was telling crew to go to the beach if they couldn't make the drop or got in the way... man.... he is hardcore. Wow.
Great place. Hilarious locals and quality waves.

Great for a road trip - Love this part of my country..... surfed caves as good as it gets a few weeks back.

Also love it how most people hink of this area and not where i live to stay a while in S.A.
