In Warrnambool on the way to Japs/Logans Beach where the whales are just before the bridge turn right and it will take you up to the Point Ritchie where from the platform you can check numerous spots, including, Hell Shory, river mouth, the point and Grannies. From there you can go down teh steps and cross teh very shallow hopkins river mouth and walk up the beach about 100m or you can drive back down over the bridge and turn off to go to Japs. A heavy shory with some sick pits breaking over sand about a metre deep. and on offshore days especially in winter tyhis place is mad getting some of teh sickest and hollowest waves around. but beware it is HEAVY

???? - there is a reaL tanned bodyboarder here he has a blue nmd board. he is a fagget and he drops in on anyone and if you even look at the same wave as him he yells at you seriusly people like this need to get fuked.

wbool bb - its called hell shorey because its nuts and knee deep water its hell when you whipe out bad!!!

Bodysurf central - Hell Shorey is a great place for lidders and bodysurfers. I don't use a lid but I do like to bodysurf there and get pummelled by waves. Intense power in these fellas that break in as shallow as 60cm deep water. Would be really easy to break your neck here. I've seen a few folk have to crawl back up the beach after copping it bad on the head. Waves pick you up and throw you round like you were a speck of sand.
