think twice - if you ever wanna surf the east coast of the prom, just be aware it is so ridiculously sharky.Thats why i never bother surfing it. But i guess sometimes the waves are just worth it... seek and you shall find

Diamonds - I'm sure this spot exists, but even as a local there is no way I would be bothered walking in for 5+ hrs to surf anything unless it broke like something in Indo. The truth is that the east coast of the Prom all the way to Red Bluff up near Lakes Entrance is fickle as hell and requires good solid swell with perfect wind and good banks which put together are as rare as hen's teeth. If you have a jet ski then yeah the east coast of the Prom would for sure be worth it, but then there are awesome reef and beach breaks within a 5 min walk of the car with only 5 ppl out on good days so why bother?

heavy - there are some very good waves on the east coast, in particular one very heavy left i came accross, some 3-4 km off track, it breaks with some seriously square pits, but the rocks are super gnarly
