Jokes and localsim - whats the difference between Jakes with 6 locals out or Snapper Rocks with 200 out ..
way less drop ins at snapper ..
sit inside at snapper and you earned it..
sit inside at Jakes and the local on the shoulder still owns it...
unless you got a brown dinged up single fin and a 1976 Rip Curl polar smoothie then you may be allowed a turn , but dont pull back or you gota go to the back of the line ...
in all seriousness , some kool kats up there , but on the global scale of spots with heavy locals , its up there..
6 guys out and taking turns is practical when the takeoff area is no bigger than 1 square meter and there is enough to go round ..
200 out , well , its all about posistion then ..
cant compare the 2 ..
respect , patience and dont kook out apply in all cases ..
dont take your flouro Pink wetsuit to Kalbarri tho ...
have to say ,,
i miss jakes , nothing like those big bendy ones that double in size as you come around the corner ...
regards
BERT

secrets not a secret now! - sick tubin left about 20nm north of river mouth way better tube than jakes 100m long, featured in tracks article blood brothers and craikeys vid.can be accessed by boat or drive in on the emu fence off the great northern highway and about 1km south.class break for competent surfers, always uncrowded.best in mid to large swell with easterlys was a local secret till now.haha.
