Three Bears consists of three waves Babys, Mamas and Papas (although there is also grandpapas as well). Papas is an average wave, where as Mamas is really good on mid to small swells, with a nice left tube and wall (rights are also possible). Babies is a good peak on a small swell, with the left slightly longer.Babies is great when the sewll gets around 6 foot and really smokes with long rides and great tubes.
Atmosphere
Usually cool. But if the swell is small and in summer time or on the weekend it is crazy, with plenty of mals as well. It is incredible that for a difficult-to-get-to spot there can be so many people!
General
Picks up about as much if not more swell as margaret river. Can get Very big on an average sized swell with powerfull rogues and cleanup sets. Starts closing out at about 2.5 - 3m swell (8-10ft wave). Sick if you get it big and uncrowded

Its always going to be busy
Something we all have to get used to.
Bit of a shame though when the city attitude and vibe comes down south
Where everybody local likes a bit of a chat the city crew just think they are so cool.

east coast pussy reefs??????????? - have you surfed outer barrier reef? 12-15 ft cronulla reefs / bommies covered in urchin? 6-8ft barnacle encrusted shark island? cave ridden voodoo?south coast barrells of potholes, guillos, razors etc etc????? stick to what you know and you will be ok. you think the locals here in wa are nasty? go to these places and see how you go!
