park your car at the car park go around the groyny and jump out there paddle around and just have fun at these short hollow kirra style lefts. Jump in on the left side, as it will reduce your paddle out.
Needs easterlys and a real big swell to break. Even on a huge swell it rarely gets bigger than head high.
Surf over the rocks, to maximise wave length. If you are a bodyboarder, barrel rolls, and 360's are perfect on this wave. Surfers get the sickest barrels. Come here on a low tide and a decent swell and you're in for a challenge to make it out of the barrels

General
its sick this wave is so good and fun but the so called locals are bad.just paddle out there and drop in.

- ive been bodyboarding here for ages. it used break pretty much everyday but now its pretty rare. espercially in summer when the beach goes up real quick and the waves just smash onto the beach. last winter they took out the rocks that were under the water and dug the beach to make the waves nice and clean. i wouldnt really bother in summer. but there a sand bar a fair way out near the marina there i would recommend going there if the swell is really big and 4th isnt running

Liam - I went down to a mates in Mandurah, we went here at about 6pm one night last year, and even though it was small, it was EPIC. Perfect waste to shoulder high barrels, soo easy to get tubed for like 15 metres. Cool spot.
