Go to moore river and go to the end of the river, the end thats next to the beach, there is a beach break at the river mouth and if that place is breaking then the bommie will be too, dont paddle out because its a bloody trek of a paddle to get there, try around 1.7km out, TAKE A BOAT. If you dont have a boat you can hire one near the rivermouth.You'll be amazed to see how much water gets drawn of the coral out there.

Getting in is frikin hard, you need to get through the caravan park and the walk down to the beach. Its a pain because you need to walk through the whole frikin caravan park, or you can jump of the reef ledge around from the caravan park and paddle through the 20m channel and get mauled by a tiger shark or white pointer.
