Pipes is one of the best of the 5 spots off the resort. Its fast and can be hollow. Its fairly shallow with the most beautiful backdrop of the rainforest. The Waidroka Bay Resort is the best place to stay to surf these spots as well as FRIGATES, which they also take you to. Its cheaper than staying on Beqa Island. The other spots are just as fun...I just cant remeber their names.
General
Can get REALLY good. Most of the time its just a great, fun, fast wave that stays uncrowded.

Waidroka - Was there in June and had an awesome time at Waidroka. Unfortunately was only there for four days. Resort was great, food was good, staff fantastic. Only surfed Pipe which was a great but challenging wave on your back hand. I would recommend this resort, and would be happy to pass on any information to anyone considering going.

Jacob K. - Has pipes been breaking during July, 2009? Has anyone stayed at the resort in the last 6 months? If so how is the customer relations and service for the surfers?

waidroka sucks - i was there last month and f*cking hated it. the owners are the biggest pricks ever. the waves blown out more often that not, and even when they were decent it was damn hard to get out there. i don't know who you have to root to get things moving over there, but i didn't find them. go elsewhere would be my advice... indo has way more waves!~
