As you are driving east from Papeete around Tahiti's main island there is a well marked Car Park for the Blow Hole Tourist Attraction. Park here and the break is right in front of the Car Park.

Additional Information
Park in the Car Park for the Arahoho Blow Hole at Tiarei and the beach and break are right in front of you! There are even toilets and a food stall for hot and cold snacks!! It looks like a thick powerful wave but as it's a point/beach break you can just get in the water and let it thrill you!

Atmosphere
I caught this spot by accident when looking at the Blowhole and a couple of guys were out in the middle of a deluge on bodyboards in just their shorts having a wail of a time! You gotta love tropical waters!

General
This is maybe more of a bodyboard spot than a surf spot but with different conditions it could be a good alternative to the risky reef breaks that scatter themselves all over Tahiti. The guys out when I drove past certainly looked like they were having a blast!

NO STARS? - Come on now webmaster... How can this place have no stars? The left in photo one is a better wave than anything in Orange County, for sure, it's a decent wave, the scenery is beautiful and there's no one out!! what more can you want??Ya it doesn't look like the greatest wave but it sure beats surfing here in Newport Beach where the water's dirty, the waves are shitty, the scenery sucks-a bunch of BS houses and a parking ticket waiting for you when you get out, and a million kooks in the water. For goodness sakes... give it at least ONE star...
