It's a long paddle. If you aren't in a good shape: find a boat. It's a long, hollow and fun wave. Often bigger than Taapuna. This part of the Island isn't crowded, enjoy it.

Tapuehara pass - I was the first to discover and surf this spot in 1976. My house is located in the mountain (up on the Maui beach)with open view on this surf spot (Tapuehara pass)

Pete - Man i surfed here and Teahupo'o and trust me i had more fun here bcuz its less crowded the max crowded was 4 ppl so enjoy peeps

unforgettable - I also rode Vairao in '76. George Greenough and Ed Gronendyke preceded us in '75.
