Mahia - Mahunga...first surfed the Mania pennisula early 70's with my brother ...discovered all the spots and named them ...mahunga a funky little point and just down from the LAST CHANCE ....surfing there for a year alone befoe anyone walked down thru Ronnie Bell pasture to join in the fun ....

- The left looks like what happens at the northern end of mahanga beach, a sand/reef break. The other photo is a crock.Mahanga wouldn't be surfable over 6-8 foot...unless you had a helicopter to get out the back. in that case, if your balls were that big the you should go out at Last chance.

This is bullshit - Firstly the picture is not of Mahanga, secondly the place is a begginers beach break.
