You park your car quite far away from the beach so take your keys and all your stuff with you and put it on the beach where you can see it when your surfing. I've been ripped off here before and so have a few others so just be aware. other than that its a really scenic nice beach which goes from the te arai point breaks north down to the southern end of pakiri. the banks here usually produce nice ledgy, fast barrels on the right tide and that all depends on what the banks are doing at that time 'cause they are always shifty if theres been a bit of swell for awhile.

I've had some of my most messmorizing and more mystic surfs at this beach. When its on its goods, really goods and thats usually any swell between 2-4 feet from the eastly directions with a light w-sw offshore and a low tide incoming. Just watch the banks, if they havn't been good your last few times it might be worth goin to another break.
