Okay, I've hit this spot four times now, it's been pretty nice (nothing world-class, but pretty sweet for a secret spot this beautiful country has to offer). My first time coming up the Cape was just to check out what's up here - and there's not much... cool scenery tho. I trekked all over the western/northern side of it - how I came to see these fairly nice looking waves. To get to the directions, take SH1 clear the hell up into the hills til you can't go any farther. Park off the side of the road or over in the bush... its kinda a bitch to walk, but still worth it if you want to be all by yourself on some nice rides. When you're walking northwest from the road area (about a 20 min walk/1-2km) you'll go over a hill, then all downsloping from there to the water. You'll be able to see the actual cape to your right off in the distance and a little small island off the rocks to your left. Everytime but one at midtide when I was there, the kickass swells were right in the middle of the two @ midtide. There are a few (3-4) buildings up in the hills, but never seen anyone there. Just prepare for a nice walk back up the hill to your car! :)
