Can get a bit competitive - due to the proximity to Napier, anyone without a car surfs here....

Not a bad break, but there are better breaks in the area - explore. Great view of the famous Art Deco town of Napier.

what da fuuk - who would want 2 surf at dis shithole place u get fkd up and its got a massive undertoe.NO 1 surfs here dnt no what da fk those unda messages r about dr all shing.drs only one legend that surfs there and apprently his name is finlay hunter hes a legend and gets roots

Its not that bad - The parade can be great fun. Have spent many a day with my friends dodging shorebreaking sledghammers.

undertow - Marine Parade is not what i would call a wave for beginers,it's deep water,good luck trying to find the surface on a big day! Size is deceiving when your standing on the beach.This beach drowns 1-2 tourists a year.
