- I surf this wave regularly. Its a rather steep take off on a big day and i wouldn't suggest it to a beginner but i've had some great wave there. As for sharks i haven't seen a single one and there are no mongrel mob there and even if there were how will they get you when your in the water?! But there are usually quite a bit of fisherman but they tend to cast away from the line up.
