- Very much hit and miss, no real good banks so super messy. Have had a few good surfs out there but inconsistent breaks. Can park right in front of surf which is handy as very isolated.

local - have had pits there people would dream about an long ripable banks, some of the longest beachies in nz on its day,likes smaller swells but with a good bank can hold solid 5,locals tend to regulate when its on.

yeah not worth it. - i used to surf there all the time and it was ok. They fenced some dunes and its stolen all of the sand and now theres just big holes and no banks. Go to any of the auckland west coast beaches because they are way better. It does not work 150 days a year more like 5 if your lucky. Also car break ins and theft have been a big problem there recently
