after the take off the wave sometime goes flat so stay in the pocket because it will wall up again

this was the fist coast spot i surfed and it is still one of the best around in Taranaki you can realy score this spot in the week.
on weekends go in the afternoon there is always less of a crowd sometimes nobody

mickey the cat lives - wow,was surfing the right hander today and heard somebody behind me in the pit.turned and it was da cat on the nose-he's got ernies old caravan on the beach and is living off whitebait and seaweed.

r u ralphing???? - come on ralph,you know as well as me that touro's will feel the wrath of the brotherhood.just ask edan and hes spose to be a "local".As for bill bailey-he used to surf once!!!graveys is an overated wave with a resonable take off and a fat fat fat wall to the inside-just like the patch.go to raglan for some real waves and less chance of being smashed by somebody straight outa once were warriors.

sik - the whole coast is sik ... as well as the locals ... absolutly amazing place ... grab a box of flame or waikato draught and chill .... anyone dat disses this place r wankas ... so stay away
