some discrepencies is wrong - I think the first comment was written by someone who got Waiwakio and the groyne mixed up, waisys is a longboarders wave, the groyne is most definitly not.

Hollow - This wave wraps around and lifts you up high onto the face looking down the line with so much speed to bust any tricks you desire. There are around three peaks at this break.

photo caption is crap - mate, whoever added the pic looking down from the golf course is full of shite... taranaki is laid back and nobody would know you weren't from there so you'd be sweat surfing it. wankers like that probably only surf ngamotu beach!
