 Additional Information

Atmosphere

Classic Banks Peninsular surfing - plenty of Sharks in the bay - they have caught 3m White Pointers and everything in between. Three distinct breaks - against the cliff, a right for body boarding, and a point break which only works when it's really big. The right has exposed rocks in front of you, I have cuts and bruises to show for it. There is a rip under the cliff that will take you out, and another on the right.

General

Very good for a more technical day. Great atmosphere but quite difficult access. Good for that lonely sharky feel. Needs care, and you need to be out of the wave before it throws you on the rocks at high tide.

Classic - Had a fantastic day out at Stony!! Awesome.... Nice sets coming through great!! Amazing how the waves bounce around in the bay, you can be in the pocket, and the wholoe wave will change shape as a secondary will run perpendicular to your line. This means the wave can peak up unpredictably, its a whole lot of fun!
