The winter north swells make good surf all along the west coast. This point is south west, so the wave forms a powerful bowl, usually glassy and hollow.
Atmosphere
This is a very quiet spot. I don't live in Barbados anymore but when I go back it's the spot I look forward too. I have detected slight localism but nothing serious.
General
As it's founder, it's magical. The speedy bowls are great.

thunder - thunder is a word class wave but only after a storm dat the only time i go out u have 2 be careful of the rips those days but any other day in the winter its perfect i mean hollow fast and powerful...(i think it 1 of the hardest waves to surf in barbados so becareful)

thunder - THUNDER is the best wave on the south west coast when big not better than brandons but dont think brandons is really a 1 star it is really a 3 or 4 dumb koook who put 1 star anyway thunder is a perfect fast barreling wave good for air finishing moves ! whatch out for rock sticking out the water
