Dream wave - Hey Gary I hope you don't tell anybody where is it...and good for you that you find a "friendly locals", but sorry to hear you didn't surf this place just by yourself...like I
do it all the time...and also I hope you surf with the right conditions...you know swell directions...I surfed this place since 1991, of course I live just 20 min from there, yes I'm a TICO, so please keep the place like that...

This wave is really fun! - And it is NOT hard to find. I won't say EXACTLY where it is, but ask anyone in the area, and they will tell you. Despite what they're saying here, the locals are very friendly. I paddled out at Carbos with a few friends (we're from Florida) and two hours later, I was on the beach with a few Ticos, drinking beer and having a great time. PURA VIDA!!!! Everyone is welcome in Costa Rica, and Carbos should be HIGH on your "must surf" list!

Why? - Why would you even give a hint to where this place is if you want it to be kept a secret? Now I am going to research like crazy to find it! I will see you in the lineup then I can give you a high five for tipping me off on a perfect wave. Look for the bearded hairy ex patriot gringo throwing massive sprays of water of the back of the wave. Thats me, I hope we can be friends!
