Potrero Grande - A right point break, with very fast and long waves. Not very hollow but quick spots and inside sections.
Atmosphere
Was a really fun spot. Can get crowded with tour boats during afternoon hours. Pretty easy wave and the only danger can be the rocks but not much. No camping and boats are "supposed" to have permits for access.
General
Great wave, no locals no tourists. Long wave and cool place.

ollie's point - The Good: probably the funnest, most amazing right in the world. very forgiving and long ride. just about anybody who surfs can and should surf here. so perfect, so fun, so easy. The Bad: only one spot to take off from. if there is more than 5 people, it gets a bit crowded. The Ugly: everybody and their aunties are here to surf it. it takes at least 3 hours to get to, no matter how you look at it.Solution: I booked a boat charter.. www.costaricasurfcharters.com... only boat that is allowed to stay over at Witch's and Ollie's, and took care of the crowd! Took care of the food, Took care of the hotel. Took care of the "looking for surf".i hooked up with www.surfex.com they took care of everything.

surfed out at ollies - scored some nice ones on 3-13 and 14th, would say in the 6 -8 range with the inside section produceing some very clean caves. Swell was all over CR so the crowed was not that bad. First day was only boat in for almost 2 hours. Labertino was going off and boats were stoping their on the way in. will send some picks. As far as the five boat rule goes ----BS

Ollie's Point - one of the best breaks in the world. and you dont have to be a pro to surf it. it was about 5 foot, but every single wave was exactly the same. could've surfed 10-15 footer!! the crowd is the only problem. only one place to take off from, and every body is jocking for it.
overnight boat trip took care of the crowd issue. i booked it with wavehunter for an overngiht boat trip.
