Gnifrus - The first time I tried to get there the river was too high, so I parked and waded up the river. I figured it was a brillient idea since it was sure to lead to a rivermouth that had to have great undiscovered waves. After a mile or so of walking in mud and paddling some I gave up and walked back. I found my car broken into and a credit card gone. Yea, I know, beyond stupid. The next day my local girlfriend's brother in law told me he forgot to mention to tell me about the croc problem. he laughed a lot.
After that I was able to get through the river twice. Both times there were big bumps but no waves breaking(there was no swell anywhere else either). I paddled out without any rip or current problems I guess since since there were no waves breaking. The brother in law told me it does get way overhead there. He lives near by and it is his main spot. He a good surfer and spends a few months in Puerto each year.
It is a desolate place and for sure a little spooky. I think I used up a few of my 9 lives walking up that river.

Why? - To those posting pictures and talking this spot up, all I can say is why? You enjoyed the waves and the solitude, don't you want it to be the same way when you go back? Stop the madness, out of the way spots should be left to surfers willing to explore.
