About 3 miles north of Santa Teresa take the dirt road that veers left to the beach. You'll see a rocky point straight ahead that turns into a good point break when it's big. Park your 4x4 on the beach and hit the surf. There's a good area to camp about 25 yards to your left near the trees. There's a rip by the rocky point that takes you out. Surf the rights there or head 50 yards south for the best left peak. Lots of lefts and rights across the beach.

This beach name is playa hermosa (not the one neer jaco) - This beach is kind of a secret spot and i don't know how you know this beach, Anyway it's the most butifule beach in all costa rica and no one's in the water. the waves can get big.

awesome place - we found this place when mal pais was too crowded.very fun and empty.park your car on the beach and stay all day.odds are you wont see more than 3 people.i just wish this website didnt give specific directions.dont be lazy and explore costa rica, there are many breaks that are unpublisheed.all it takes is a little adventure.
