- Urchins
- Rips / undertow
treat with respect. the current and undertow are notorious. Swimmers have drowned/swept out to sea here as a result of underestimating the danger.
Atmosphere
Immensely beautifull bay. The athmosphere around the place is very 'sauvage' (wild) and mysterious. Put up your hammock under the shelter and spend a couple of days here. well worth it.
General
superb, good nature vibes, the wave kicks ass. Gets real shallow towards the end, beware. loads better than the Tartan spot which can get crowded and lifeless.

Powerful - I confirm, Anse Charpentier right's a nasty wave. Be careful, even it's seems to be quiet...Surf with one or two matesBut it's a beautiful wave!

no title - Anse Charpentier right's not perhaps the best wave of Martinique but anyway it's the one i like more.A wonderful wave for a wonderful island.A long wave with a great first tubular section when there are good conditions and not too much wind.A excellent memory : one session in august,1,5 - 2m,glassy and perfect,3 people in water .... me and my brothers !!!Sooooo good ;).
