South of the island. You have to walk 2 hours to access to this beach. Go to the touristic beach of les Salines and follow the bad road on for another kilometer. Take a small path along the pool and "la Savane des Petrifications" for about 2 hours - don't do that at mid-day and take 2 liter of water! OR You can go by car towards Sainte-Anne, then turn left at the roundabout before the village, follow 4 km bad road (only 4x4). At some point it is a private road, you'll have to pay for it (open from 8h to 18h).

beautyful beach - good surf - good surf, watch out for the beachbreak. but encridible view and marvelous bay.if you're in Martinique with your girlfriend and she tired of that same old surfingspot, watch you surf etc - take her to this place. she will never mind again if you surfing. take the road, pay the ugly, nasty, unfriendly witch at the gate and go on for 10 min. suprise!!!!
