This place catches swells from lots of directions, the waves range from fun little peaks, to smoking powerful walls. Low tide can be shallow, and sketchy. A great wave for power carves. It is always bigger than it looks. Line up off the first boil, for the right shoulder, or eat your wheaties, and paddle deep into the peak area, for rights and lefts.
Atmosphere
I started surfing it to avoid the long walk to k38. Yesterday (6-9-04) I surfed it at 10-12 foot faces with 2 guys out. K-38 had at least 10 guys out. The day before it was just me and my friends, and about 6-10 feet. This is a fun spot that reminds me of acid drop, on Kauai, although not quite as powerful/hollow.
General
Overall, this is a great all around spot. After surfing, Ana Mar restaurant is great for fish tacos, right above the break. In fact the huge white deck is the line up for the peak when you are in the water.

Teresita's - I surfed there for years thinking it was K-38 until I went with a friend of mine who told me that K-38 was just south of there. Whatever. K-38 gets even more crowded than this place. T's can be a really fun, rippable right that can get super crowded. The local surfers in the water that I have met are super cool, but there are almost always jackasses hanging around the little parking lot. I actually got in a rock fight with some guy who seemed to be whacked out on drugs. (He started it) There used to be tons of urchins in the rocks but I don't see them much anymore. There are some shallow sections out there but for the most part it is a safe wave. Go to Las Rocas for cocktails after. They have guards so you don't have to worry about your car getting burgled. Have fun at Teresita's

Dont duck your head under - ask the people who live and work anywhere near here where their sewage goes. Or dont ask if you plan to go out." Dude I was in such deep Baja you could get a fish taco." Uggbouts and the OC dominate this spot. Like aciddrops never.NEVER Never ever.NEVER.
