Road sign says Punta Conejo. Go down dirt road about 1 hour . comes to a bluff with a river wash on the left . Camp on the bluff not the sand wash or you can be washed out to sea in a flash flood. Park on the bluff, rain storms can blow in mountains and flash flood lower sand area - advise no camping there. I have seen trucks wash away. Long left but don't ride too far in or you will hit rocks . maybe where booties first time.
Atmosphere
tide pools are great at night full moons sand dunes . nice to hang out cool off. buy fresh fish off the fishermen near light house . one time a guy gave me 5 pounds of fresh dorado already cut into steaks. unreall dinner. never got sick. fresh like an hour ago. winds can kick up strong in the afternoons so tie things down tarps a must. bring water . beer. lots of it town is far away . loreto. recomend block ice lasts the longest. or warm beer if you like . camping.
General
this spot always has long waves warm water good vibes . everyone there is full on camping. most people leave within 2 days . kinda dust out there. but the mornings are unreal. also before dark.

Windy - Surf is OK. Gets good once in a while. Winds will blow for 2 weeks straight. Been there for long periods w/o surfing but you can also go there and score with no one out. Cool place. Nardo is an interesting fellow and will collect $5/night.

shit hole - I went to Conejo last year. The beach was swarming with flies from all the dead fish and human shit. The wave was crowded and sectiony and the bottom is infested with urchins. I'd rather deal with the crowd at zippers and get good waves.
