This spot is typically surfed by the locals from Tampico when they can get a ride and when the swell is usually closed out at the Jetty in Tampico. It holds a big swell and usually cleans it up better. It's in the industrial channel, so whatch out for ships entering and leaving.
Atmosphere
I surfed here for over 3 years whie building a plastics plant in the industrial corridor. I could see the break from the top of the tower we built an did surf checks from there. I kept a board in my offcie and was the source of soem amusement from my colleagues. Bit I did catch it good and often.
General
Goof beach break with better form than most other breaks in the area. Not crowded and isolated. Worth catching.

Still on - This spot is still working, sometimes the security guard from the industrial port may take you out of the water due to is a Government land, certainly the original description of the spot is right, works when a strong North wind hit the area (cold front) and during the cold front is waves are on. If in Tampico the water is messy (due to take one day to the wave to get aligned) this is the spot. Most of the surf time is on winter, so you might require wearing a wetsuit.
