soft wave? - This is not a soft wave. On a big south swell is full pipeline. This spot is located between two of the 3 islands in front of mazatlan, meaning some rights sneak in from time to time. In the 80´s that spot was a proving ground for hellmen. What happened?? dont know...probably the construction of la marina messed the sandbas. Now 80% of the big days are close outs. Spongers love the place now. Remember seeing Henry Holliday pulling in backside for 7 seconds and making it (many times).
