El Palmar - was in Panama City in mid-December. Went to el palmar...bout an hour drive out there. Got there low tide, and it was a wasteland. Some surf camps/shops you can probably rent boards from....but for the most part, it's really inconvenient to get out here, and the surf seems rather inconsistent. Surf elsewhere.
