Surfari next Year - Thinking about heading to PR next year for a surf trip...
Any Tips?
By Arty , 04-08-2008
What is this about locals? - I'm a white guy from NYC that usually travels by myself or with my wife and I can tell you that I have never had problems anywhere in PR with Locals. In fact, last year I met this chill dude, what up chullo, Aviones was flat so he took me around and we drove along the coast until we found good waves at Los Tubos. Dude couldn't even surf because he had to go to work but he still drove around with me to find a good spot. Show up with 10 guys and expect to get hassled anywhere in the world.

localism - this spot is not as localized as people make it out to be. if you wait your turn and not drop in on anyone you'll be fine. one of the most consistent spots on the metro area so its always super crowded and you will get your ass handed to by a gang of about 30 locals that live there if you act like a rich spoiled gringo.
