Surfers Beach and Table Tops the real deal - Lived on base Ramey for 3 years and surfed this spot and surfers atleast 300 times. Everyone crows about Rincon, but the best bang for the buck is surfers beach. Very consistant, powerful and holds juice. And the best part, very few spongers. Also the agro locals have always avoided this place, I think most believe it still belongs to the US Coast Guard. About 300 yards down from the main parking lot of surfers you'll see a large flat rock "table tops" not Table Rock, table rock is on the west side near aguadilla and is extremly suicidal, not to mention the locals are agro & unfreindly and they relish that role. Table Tops can hold up to 6 to 10 feet, although I earned nine stiches surfing 10 + but the best part about table tops, when trades kick up, the rock will act as a jetty and let fun little peelers come in. Caught it many times with no one out, usually because no one was willing to paddle over and try it.I would go to PR and surf nothing but surfers beach, its worth it. I meet some cool locals at this spot and became friends with some, however most of the locals are unfriendly pricks. With little or no appreciation for your tax dollars that alot of there parents live off of. If you have money to go on a trip, go to DOM REP, the locals are cool, the surf is comparable and the euro girls are insane.
