A long walk; a new bar - It's actually a 5-Kilometre walk. It takes about a good hour to hike that distance; maybe more, depending on your load. It took me an hour and I was just carrying a day pack. Add a surf board and enough stuff to keep you there for a week and you’re looking at the Chilkoot Trail. The trail is all ups and downs. Steep at some spots. No walk in the park. But the Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo is one hell of a place. Well worth of the hike and all. I was there last week and man... what a great experience it was... A guy called Mario opened a bar there, in some sort of a shack, with really nice prices. The clientele is mostly surfers and hikers. Totally recommend it, and the spot.Kell, Vancouver
