who knew! - I used to spend my summers in Galata, near Fichoza, when I was a kid - was stunned to see the place listed on this site! Who knew surfing would develop there one day! Power to the Bulgarian bros. This reminds me of a scene from "The Endless Summer II"...Though I do recall the Black Sea can get kinda big at times (once or twice a summer) - we're not talking Mavericks here, but gnarly nonetheless. Especially with the ton of rocks you can get pounded into.Maybe one day I'll take a vacation from the Central California coast and go check out the surf at my old stomping grounds. (Or at least raid a few fig trees in local fields - best stuff ever.)
