Outside at Rocky Point - Fanatstic wave when its really working, surfed it overhead++ and it was great fun and very mellow, no crowds (unlike the inside). Well worth the longish paddle out. Good view of Lobos and the town between sets.

Mellower Spot - I was advised by locals to surf here when the north shore was too big to tackle. Went down midweek and had a really nice session on 4ft cleanish waves, not too crowded, whilst the North and west shores were being pounded by 12ft beasts. Can be tricky to find, look for Calle Poris which is the easiest access point. Also advisable to wear boots for the rocks underfoot.
