Ghost Town - Surfed here 10 years ago on a 4 week stay on Lanzarote. Straight off the plane and 40 minutes drive later i'm paddling out at 6 - 8 foot Ghost Town. Pity I didn't bother asking a few questions before paddling out as there are a heap of fucking needle sharp urchins there. When i came in I ended up walking (barefoot) over an area covered with them. Spent a couple of hours trying to dig em all out with a scalpal blade that night. So don't screw up like I did and take the time to find out the best entry/exit points! Bloody good fun wave too.....
