watch out for wind surfers - Wind surfers wave jumping spot. The "peak" is their ramp. Its also where you want to be. But with them coming at you, it may not be the best place to be. Kind of hectic as you go up and down with the swells, wind howling and as you hope not to be decapitated by - or even so much as an uneccesary annoyance to - the well established wind kook community. The current is treacherous and you will be paddling non stop as the water is shallow and there will be lots of wind on the water while you are surfing. That being said, if you are desperate and the wind kooks (respect- these guys RIP!) aren't out in force, and you are really desperate, really, really, really desperate and you don't mind swimming your ass off and trying to catch a wave as you drift into and then out of the peak ..well then, go for it. Its a hard way to get a wave but it can be like Pipeline on its day...yah right!
