Halfway from Brest and Quimper, get into the Crozon peninsula toward Crozon city. Once there, take road D308 toward "Pointe de Dinan" and Dinan hamlet (and do not confuse Dinan hamlet and Dinan city, which is 200 kilometers eastward !). Follow that road 'til the last parking lot : it's there. The spot of Dinan point is the righthander wave running along the point on your right. You need to be on a BIG swell, powerful enough to push itself past the Dinan point and...crash in front of you. Access is also possible by boat (Brest or Crozon harbors).

Additional Information
The place is a natural marvel, illuminating the surrounding cliffs with its clear blue waters.
You have to make the short walk from the car to the sea on a rock floor (a pair of booties would be a good idea -even in summer)then, do not paddle straight toward the foam but head alongside the rolling waves (as in any pointbreak). Currents are kind of poor but they will push you toward the peak, indeed.
If there's no swell, you can go on free diving, scuba diving or climbing the rocks of the Dinan castle, just a hundred meters away (Northward).
This climbing spot is a french reference.
In case of heavy swell : BEWARE and DO NOT APPROACH THE SEASHORE. Sneaker waves take away the local fisherman and the silly tourist as well and that happens several times a year.

Atmosphere
Pretty cool as far as surfing is concerned, because the place is BEAUTIFUL !
Respect everyone and show a smile on your face : just as anybody else.
The surf gets good here because it needs to be bigger than on most other spots of the peninsula to just begin to break.
It can be surfed bigger than on most other spots, too.
But as you can see it when you're sitting on your board : this is SHALLOW WATERS !
